Dear Grade 3 Parents,
Welcome to Upper Elementary Chinese! At the beginning of Grade 3 and then toward the end of the year in Grades 3, 4 & 5 students take an external test designed to measure their oral skills proficiency. The testing is used only as an external reference for teachers and is useful feedback for teachers about their own ratings of students' performance toward proficiency.
